Well, of course.
She successfully played a role in the closing(2 way to 1 way traffic) of Isabella St. which seems to have ruffled the feathers of anyone who lives West of Newtown.
I never thought that neighborhood was anything more than a quaint little bunch of historic homes butted ghastly up against some of the worst neighborhoods/properties in town and thought that was a shame. The neighborhood to me carries zero weight of prestige and is in fact just another city neighborhood and should be accustomed to and subjected to the same traffic problems as any other CITY neighborhood with no special favors allowed but, that's just me and I don't have to live there.
Elsewhere, I've noticed a fledgling campaign of contributions to THE DAILY TIMES' "Grapevine" collumn in support of Her Honor.
I more or less like her and think her title is well deserved... we could(and probably will) do a lot worse in the near future.
While she and her chronies are turning streets into oneways for the immediate areas benefit, I hope they'll make all the streets in the zoo/Elks/park area one-ways for the safety of bikes and pedestrians not to mention the children who use the area, and S. Division St. is really dangerous and worse for the wear of the incessant traffic there as well... nevermind that it's a major local artery.
Lastly some contributor to the Grapevine did allude to the possibility that Her Honor, a Salisbury State College graduate offers up a biased favor concerning issues reguarding her alma mater. I think every Salisburian should respect and hold in great reguard the whole SU institution(even it's students ), so let me be the first to offer up that feather for her tattered and still withering cap.
This town would be nothing without that school. Shoot it's hardly much with it!
